Formed in 1980 in the Warminster and Melksham areas of Wiltshire, Subhumans are an English punk rock band. Singer Dick Lucas previously performed with a local band called the Mental, while other members had been part of The Stupid Humans before joining the group. The band's musical style is typically classified as either hardcore punk or anarcho-punk, establishing them within the broader punk rock movement.
