Formed in 2003, TesseracT is a British progressive metal band from Milton Keynes. The group consists of Daniel Tompkins on lead vocals, Acle Kahney handling lead guitar and production duties, James Monteith on rhythm guitar, Amos Williams providing bass and backing vocals, and Jay Postones on drums and percussion. Currently signed to Kscope, the band is credited as one of the pioneering acts of the djent movement within progressive metal. Their discography as of 2023 includes five studio albums: One, Altered State, Polaris, Sonder, and War of Being. In addition to their studio work, TesseracT has released three live albums titled Odyssey/Scala, Portals, and Radar O.S.T, along with several extended plays including Concealing Fate, Perspective, Errai, and Regrowth.
