Founded in Helsinki in 1989, The 69 Eyes is a Finnish rock band that has maintained a consistent lineup since the early 1990s. Vocalist Jyrki 69 serves as the band's frontman and lyricist, working alongside guitarists Bazie and Timo-Timo, bassist Archzie, and drummer Jussi 69, who joined in 1992. The band's distinctive sound blends gothic rock with glam metal and rock 'n roll in a style that has been dubbed "goth 'n roll". Currently signed to EMI Finland, The 69 Eyes has achieved international distribution through multiple partners including The End Records for North America, Nuclear Blast Records for Europe, AmpHead Music for Australia, and EMI affiliates handling releases across Asia and Latin America.
