Founded in Riverside, California in 1990, The Bellrays is an American rock group known for blending garage rock and punk with soul music. The band was created by vocalist Lisa Kekaula and guitarist Bob Vennum, whose collaboration established the group's distinctive sound that merges multiple musical genres. Throughout their career, The Bellrays have worked with numerous independent record labels, including Upper Cut, Poptones, Alternative Tentacles, Bittersweet, Shock, Cheap Lullaby, Vicious Circle, Vital Gesture, and Anodyne, demonstrating their deep roots within the independent music scene.
