The Black Queen

Formed in Los Angeles in 2015, The Black Queen is an American electronic supergroup featuring lead singer Greg Puciato from The Dillinger Escape Plan, alongside keyboardists and guitarists Joshua Eustis of Telefon Tel Aviv and ex-Nine Inch Nails, and Steven Alexander, a former tech for The Dillinger Escape Plan and Nine Inch Nails. The group self-released their debut album, Fever Daydream, in 2016. With the announcement of their second album, Infinite Games, which arrived in 2018, the band established their own label, Federal Prisoner. In explaining this decision, Puciato noted in a blog post for Spotify that signing to an outside label would mean "giving more than we would be gaining," and reflected that aspects of the industry he once viewed as beneficial now seemed unnecessary at best and problematic at worst.
