The Chats are an Australian punk rock band formed in 2016 on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, describing their sound as "shed rock." The lineup features guitarist Josh Hardy, drummer Matt Boggis, and bassist and vocalist Eamon Sandwith. Known for their songs about Australian culture, the band gained viral attention with "Smoko" in 2017 and later "Pub Feed" in 2019. They have released two EPs and two studio albums, including High Risk Behaviour and Get Fucked.
