The Lonely Ones is a posthumous album by Roy Orbison released on December 4, 2015. It serves as his 24th and final studio album to date. Orbison originally recorded the material in 1969, during a particularly difficult period in his life following the death of his wife Claudette in a motorcycle accident and the loss of his two sons in a house fire two years later. The album was recorded privately during this time and was long believed to be lost before its eventual release decades later.
