Formed in 2009 in Melbourne, The Paper Kites are an Australian indie rock and folk rock band led by vocalist and guitarist Sam Bentley alongside keyboardist and guitarist Christina Lacy. The duo gained significant recognition with their 2010 single "Bloom," which achieved Platinum certification in the United States. Over their career, the band has established themselves as prolific recording artists, having released seven studio albums and two EPs as of 2026. Their most recent album, If You Go There, I Hope You Find It, arrived on January 23, 2026, continuing their steady output of new material.
