The Plot in You is an American metalcore band formed in Hancock County, Ohio in 2010. Originally conceived as a side project by former Before Their Eyes member Landon Tewers, the group features Tewers on vocals, guitarist Josh Childress, bassist Ethan Yoder, and drummer Michael Cooper. The band has established itself through consistent releases, having put out four EPs and five studio albums to date. Their discography began with the EP Wife Beater in 2010, followed by their debut album First Born in 2011 and second album Could You Watch Your Children Burn in 2013. In 2015, The Plot in You signed with StaySick Recordings and released the album Happiness in Self Destruction that same year. The band transitioned to Fearless Records in 2017 and released their fourth studio album Dispose in 2018. Their most recent studio album, Swan Song, was released in 2021.
