Formed in 1999, The Red Chord is an American extreme metal band hailing from Revere, Massachusetts. The group features vocalist Guy Kozowyk, guitarist and vocalist Mike "Gunface" McKenzie, bassist Greg Weeks, and drummer Jon Rice. The band built its fanbase with the 2002 debut album Fused Together in Revolving Doors. Their second album, Clients, released in 2005, achieved significant commercial success by selling over 50,000 copies in the U.S. The Red Chord continued with their third album, Prey for Eyes, in 2007, which sold between 4,000 and 5,000 copies and debuted at number 198 on the Billboard 200 chart. Their fourth studio album, Fed Through the Teeth Machine, came out in 2009 and debuted at number 180 on the Billboard 200 chart. Throughout their career, the band has toured across North America, Europe, and Japan.
