The Sounds

Swedish indie rock band The Sounds formed in Helsingborg in 1998. Their musical style has been compared to new wave acts such as Blondie, The Cars, the Epoxies and Missing Persons. The band released their debut album, Living in America, in 2002, followed by Dying to Say This to You in 2006. Their third album, Crossing the Rubicon, came out in 2009, and their fourth album, Something to Die For, was released in 2011. The Sounds continued their output with their fifth album, Weekend, in 2013. In 2017, they released a four-track EP titled The Tales That We Tell. Most recently, the band released their album Things We Do for Love in 2020.
