From Orem, Utah, The Used is an American rock band formed in 2000. Led by vocalist Bert McCracken alongside bassist Jepha, drummer Dan Whitesides, and guitarist Joey Bradford, the group rose to fame following their 2002 self-titled debut album. They have released nine studio albums, most recently Toxic Positivity in 2023, along with several EPs. The Used has achieved commercial success with gold and platinum status albums worldwide and earned recognition from Alternative Press Magazine as "kings of the 2000s emo scene."
