Formed in Irvine, California in 1998 by guitarist/vocalist Dustin Kensrue and lead guitarist Teppei Teranishi, Thrice is an American rock band known for evolving their sound across multiple albums. Early work featured melodic hardcore punk with complex time signatures, while later albums incorporated electronic elements and experimental styles. After announcing a hiatus in 2011, the band reunited in 2015 and has since released several albums including To Be Everywhere Is to Be Nowhere, Palms, and Horizons/East. Each album release includes charitable donations.
