Total Chaos

Formed in Pomona, California in 1989, Total Chaos is an American hardcore punk band known for their contributions to the punk and Oi! music scenes. Lead vocalist Rob Chaos co-owns SOS Records with Ezzat Soliman, the owner of the Showcase Theater. Through SOS Records, the label has released albums by notable punk and Oi! bands including the Exploited, Vice Squad, Sham 69, Conflict, the Adicts, and Abrasive Wheels. Beyond their musical endeavors, Total Chaos has been actively involved in community organizing and activism. Working alongside Jay Lee from the band Resist and Exist, the band helped establish organizations such as United Valley Punks, Orange County Peace Punks, and the Alternative Gathering Collective. These groups organized social events including Food Not Bombs and supported important causes like opening the Los Angeles Anarchist Center and advocating for the Big Mountain Indian Reservation.
