Formed in 1987 in Ciudad Azteca, Ecatepec, Mexico, this extreme metal band was established by brothers Javier, Juan, and Lorenzo Partida. They are recognized as one of the most important metal bands in Latin America. Their breakthrough came with "Killers," a cover of the French band Killers, released on the 1989 Desear un Funeral EP. The band gained international prominence following their 1993 album El infierno de Dante, recorded at Morrisound Studios with producer Scott Burns and featuring Glen Benton on choruses. The album achieved nearly 100,000 copies sold and led to regular MTV features. Throughout their career, the band has released over 30 albums that blend thrash and death metal styles, characterized by growling vocals. They have performed alongside notable acts including Slayer, Sepultura, Overkill, and Kreator, cementing their place in the global metal community.
