Tribulation

About

Tribulation is a Swedish heavy metal band from Arvika that formed in 2005. The group released their debut studio album, The Horror, in early 2009, followed by their second full-length album, The Formulas of Death, in 2013. Their third studio album, Children of the Night, arrived in 2015 and marked a significant stylistic shift for the band. While their first two albums drew heavily from death metal, Children of the Night incorporated traditional heavy metal, black metal, and gothic rock influences alongside themes of the occult and mythology. Music publication Decibel has characterized the group as "blackened goth metallers" for their distinctive sound.
