Twin Atlantic is a Scottish alternative rock band from Glasgow. The group currently consists of lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Sam McTrusty and bassist Ross McNae. Lead guitarist Barry McKenna departed from the band in 2019, though he continues to perform with them at live shows. The band has released seven albums: Vivarium, Free, Great Divide, GLA, Power, Transparency, and Meltdown. Their highest-charting single is "Heart and Soul" from the album Great Divide, which reached number 17 on the UK Singles Chart. In June 2016, BBC Radio 1 presenter Annie Mac premiered the single "No Sleep" as the Hottest Record in the World, announcing the band's album GLA, which was subsequently released in September 2016.
