Formed in Boston, Massachusetts in 1998, Unearth is an American metalcore band that has established itself as a notable force in the genre. The group's current lineup features lead guitarist Buz McGrath, vocalist Trevor Phipps, bassist Chris O'Toole, drummer Mike Justian, and rhythm guitarist Peter Layman. Throughout their career, the band has released eight studio albums while maintaining a recording contract with Century Media Records. Their most recent studio album, The Wretched; the Ruinous, was released on May 5, 2023, continuing their legacy of delivering heavy, aggressive metalcore music to their fanbase.
