David Justin Vincent, known professionally as Evil D, is an American musician born on April 22, 1965. He is best known as the former lead vocalist and bassist for Morbid Angel, a Florida-based death metal band. Beyond his work with Morbid Angel, Vincent has also served as bassist for both Terrorizer and Genitorturers. His vocal style is recognized as among the most decipherable in the death metal genre, with critics noting his distinctive approach to the craft. According to Loudwire, Vincent "perfected the technique of shaping his brutal gutturals to add greater understanding to his lyrics," setting him apart from many of his contemporaries in the genre.
