Waking the Cadaver is an American brutal death metal band from Sayreville, New Jersey. The group was formed in 2006, though it originally operated under the name Death to Honor and released one demo in 2004 before adopting their current name two years later. The band has established itself through the release of four studio albums spanning more than a decade. Their discography includes Perverse Recollections of a Necromangler in 2007, Beyond Cops, Beyond God in 2010, Real-Life Death in 2013, and Authority Through Intimidation in 2021. The band is currently signed to Unique Leader Records.
