Geizon Carlos da Cruz Fernandes, known professionally as Xamã, is a Brazilian rapper, singer, poet and actor born on October 30, 1989. Since the 2010s, he has released several successful rap albums that achieved strong sales and online streams. Beyond his music career, Xamã expanded into acting, appearing in notable telenovelas including Amor de Mãe and Renascer. He also participated in The Masked Singer Brasil, where he finished in third place. Throughout his career, Xamã has received significant recognition in the music industry, having won a Latin Grammy award. Additionally, he has been nominated for multiple prestigious awards including the BET Hip Hop Awards, the MTV MIAW Awards Brazil, the MTV Europe Music Awards, and the Multishow Brazilian Music Award.
