Michael Wayne Atha, known professionally as Yelawolf, is an American rapper born in Gadsden, Alabama and raised in Antioch, Tennessee. He began his recording career in 2005 with mixtapes, gaining wider recognition with his fourth mixtape Trunk Muzik in 2010. This led to a recording contract with Interscope Records. He later signed with Eminem's Shady Records to release his second studio album Radioactive in 2011. His third album Love Story peaked at number three on the Billboard 200 and produced the platinum-certified single "Till It's Gone." He has released multiple additional albums throughout his career.
